#4 Steve Jobs’ 2005 Standford Commencement Address

After listening to this speech, it was very enlightening for me. Steve jobs told three stories from his life and he told the audience many important life lessons learned from his experience. The talk made me realize that our time is limited, so don't waste it living in someone else's life and have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. I’m majoring in finance. I often encounter frustration and I don't know if what I'm learning now is practical, but after listening to the speech, I trust that the dots will somehow connect in the future. I hope that after graduation, I can find a job I really love like him and keep doing it.  One of the most impressive words in the talk were "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." I think it means never be satisfied and to stay curious about everything, and to have a silly persistence to what you love. I will remember this phrase and always remind myself of it.

#3 Inside the mind of a master procrastinator

1. Do you procrastinate sometimes? Yes , I often procrastinate. I always tell myself to start doing it tomorrow and then tomorrow comes I still haven't started it. 2. What are some of the things you procrastinate on? I often procrastinate on my homework,  studying and giving reports. 3. What are some reasons for procrastination? Because I want to relax and I think these things are difficult, and time-consuming. I don't want to face them so I procrastinate.  4. What are some strategies you can use to combat your procrastination? I will make a plan and assign daily tasks.  After completing the plan , I will reward myself and let myself do whatever I want to do , which makes me more motivated to complete my goals. "Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today." is a good habits. So I will try to do it. ✨
